  2. SYMPTOMS are not usually evident until about a month after being bitten by
  3. an infected animal. The signs include malaise, restlessness, fever, mental
  4. depression and then great excitation, painful spasms of the larynx and
  5. throat muscles and excessive salivation.
  6. CAUSES are from a dread viral disease that is transmitted by an infected
  7. animal such as a dog, cat, bat, raccoon, skunk or fox.
  8. TREATMENT. Consult your doctor immediately. Untreated can be fatal.
  9. .Treatment with vaccines by injection.
